What do we think of the Human Race?

We all have the right, and the duty - to make this judgement. Let me repeat that - to be responsible people, we have to judge ourselves, and everyone else. And we have to make this decision (or decisions) consciously, not unconsciously.

Most Americans, however, will not do this. They pride themselves on being non-judgemental - at least consciously. And are not aware of their powerful, unconscious feelings.

This is a dangerous situation - they can easily explode in unpredictable ways - such as their election of Trump! After this happens, they don't know why it happened - but they feel satisfied with themselves - and accept the destructive results, calmly.

I think what was happening was this - they noticed they were being treated badly, and their feelings at being neglected were not being noticed. So they decided to wreck everything! They can now watch this happening - and also deny it is happening!

These unconscious activities can be further divided into gut thinking and emotional thinking. With the gut being the most powerful and the least rational.

We cannot just decide to be rational beings only - as Kant advised. We have to accept all of us - and judge all of us.

We have a lot to be proud of - our invention of the Computer, its Software, and Wikipedia. But we also have a lot to be ashamed of - the self-destruction I have referred to.

If we get the Big Picture - this can be seen as the rise and fall of an empire (or, as we now put it - an economy).

And to be honest - we have to say it's not working very well.
