The State of the Human Race

I won't keep you waiting long, but get down to the basic facts - we are in bad shape, and don't seem to be getting any better. And don't seem to care.

Why is this? Why don't we care? 

I can only guess at the answer, but it seems to be this; our problems seem too big for us to solve. In fact, they are too big for us to even describe. 

Perhaps the phrase "too big" is not the right one. Maybe "too subtle" would be better  Or even "too much". 

Our solution for this is, is to bring it down to size, so we feel able to work on it. 

This will take some leadership, so we can work on this together.
