The Transition from Hardware to Software

This marked one of the major changes in the Industrial Revolution. Which, as usual, was not noticed by the People involved. Because it was too big.

I will relate this to the Religions of the time. Especially Mormonism, the religion of my family.

I will start in the 17th Century, with the Sailing Ship, which operated by Wind Power.

This was replaced, in the 18th Century, by the Steam Ship, powered by Coal. The workers who produced these machines worked in incredibly difficult conditions, many hours a day. This affected their minds and made it difficult for them to think.

The Mormons, as they were called, were Industrial Workers who believed instantly in the Book of Mormon. And knew it was written by a Prophet of God.

The next transition, from Hardware to Software, is still happening and is not understood any better.
